Little Black Book - Reiko Kaneko

I'm sharing one of my all-time favourite shops with you today. I know, I know, I'm so good to you!

British-Japanese designer Reiko Kaneko's online store is the perfect destination for buying gifts, or for sourcing beautiful, quirky things for your own home. After all, we all deserve a treat now and then, don't we?!

Her aim is to dispel the concept of twee, vintage, 18th Century-style ceramics by bringing a unique sense of humour to her designs. The result? Plates with giant cracks in, dripping teapots and teacups and saucers and (my personal favourite) an eggcup and toast rack breakfast train!

I reckon that the eggcup train is the perfect way to get kids excited about food. Or maybe, just maybe, I want it for myself...

Anyway, take a look at her other bits and pieces below, and be prepared to smile!
