Once we got to January, I always knew that the weeks would start whizzing by. Somehow, after thinking I had forever to prepare, I find myself with just seven weeks (or six, if he arrives a little early like Zayn) before baby boy's arrival.
Pregnancy the second time around hasn't been too kind. Regular readers will know I've been suffering from terrible insomnia and SPD which has sometimes been crippling, meaning...well, let's just say I'm not enjoying it so much right now.
My house is also currently looking more like a warehouse, with stacks and stacks of boxes left unopened and waiting to be put up, into the nursery. GAH. How do some women do it?!
Anyway, I thought I'd share with you some pics of my bump (or lack of, really - I look like I've eaten too much) with clothes from my favourite maternity range, Envie De Fraises. I had never heard of Envie before they contacted me, but wow...am I glad I did! Not only is their maternity wear super flattering and comfortable (a combination which doesn't tend to work much in pregnancy), but one of my ultimate style icons, Gwen Stefani, is also a huge fan. I mean, just how cool is that lady, bump or no bump?
While I'm most definitely no Gwen Stefani, here's me modelling some of the Envie De Fraises range:
These burgundy jeans are probably the most comfortable things I've ever owned. When baby has arrived, I don't think I'll ever want to give them up. The high rise stretchy bump band may be a little loose on my pathetic little bump, but the fit is absolutely brilliant. I love mine paired with loose-fitting sweats and shirts.
The same goes for these Envies skinny jeans, which are equally brilliant. True maternity wardrobe staples, I wear mine everywhere!
Envies has a HUGE range of maternity dresses, and all at purse-friendly price points too (I don't really like to spend a lot on a wardrobe I'm only going to be in for 9 months). This maternity swing dress has my favourite thing in the world - pockets! - and is perfect for throwing under a colour block coat with ankle boots for easy, breezy style. The sunglasses, meanwhile, are a must when you're not wearing any make-up and don't want to freak out small kids / your hubby / your son...
All in all, I am a HUGE fan of Envies De Fraises' fab range of maternity wear and only wish I'd discovered them sooner. I've found them to be much better value and a much better fit than some of the other brands online (ASOS and Topshop, I'm looking at you and your maternity jeans that fall down!).
What's in your maternity wardrobe?
